as building IoT 2024 – Die Softwareentwicklerkonferenz zu Internet of Things und Industrial Internet of Things

Keynote: CyberSafety for the Internet of Everything: Bits & Bytes meet Flesh & Blood

"Our dependence on connected technology is growing faster than our ability to secure it – especially in areas affecting public safety and human life." (Foundational statement of www.iamthecavalry.org)

Software is infecting the world. We're adding software and connectivity to everything, exposing us to new accidents and adversaries. All systems fail. Not all systems are prepared for failure.

As we connect our cars, medical devices, critical infrastructure, homes, and the Internet of Everything, we must design these systems for failure.

We’ll outline how IoT Safety is different than IT security and provide frameworks being embraced by the IoT ecosystem. We will eventually figure this out. We can be safer, sooner, if we work together.
